I first found Custom Sports Gear while searching online for companies to make custom jerseys for our local dualsport group damnriders.org.  We checked with several other companies before deciding to go with CSG.  One of the main deciding factors was the fact that CSG produces their jerseys in the USA.  Most of the other companies we considered send their work out to China or other countries.  The second major factor was the excellent customer support.  Upon initial contact, in which I spoke with Ivan, I was impressed with his dedication to pleasing the customer and providing a quality product.  The last major deciding factor was that CSG resizes the design for each size jersey.  The other companies I contacted would only size the logos and designs to one size jersey.  Therefore, if you needed multiple jerseys in a range of sizes, the larger jerseys would have smaller logos and the small jerseys would have larger ones.  Since our first order was for 36 jerseys ranging in size from youth to 4XL, we wanted them to all look identical.  We also wanted to be able to place future orders for new members without having to place a minimum order amount, most other companies had a minimum of ten even for reorders.

After deciding to use Custom Sports Gear to produce our jerseys, I contacted Ivan again to discuss the design..  I had a basic idea of what we wanted them to look like and had the basic graphics and logo.  I sent in a description and the needed images, and within a few days had a final jersey design for approval.  The design I received for approval surpassed the original I submitted.  CSG made a few minor changes and suggestions over the original design I submitted, and the changes were remarkable.  They really have an eye for designing jerseys.  I liked most the changes, but still needed a few things tweaked before I gave the final OK.  Ivan was very accommodating and quickly made the changes and resubmitted a new final design for approval.  The new one was exactly what I was looking for.  I gave the final OK, filled out the order form for the thirty six jerseys, and sent a 50% deposit for this first order.  Several weeks later I received a message saying that the jerseys were ready to ship and I then paid the remainder of the order and shipping.

            When the jerseys arrived I was highly impressed with the quality.  The material is the perfect weight for a jersey of this type.  The color reproduction was perfect and all the lines and edges of the printing were crisp and clean.  Everyone in our group who purchased one was just as impressed with the final outcome.  Members of our group participate in events all around the mid-Atlantic and are always getting compliments from other clubs and people asking where we hade them made. 

            Our first order was delivered over this past winter of 2010 and so far those jerseys have gotten lots of use and abuse this season and are still looking great.  After the first order arrived, members were so impressed with them that we placed another order about a month later for the members that didn’t get in on the first order.  So far to date, I think we’ve made about three additional orders after the first, and each one has been the same service and quality as the first time.  There will definitely be more orders from CSG in the near future as our club is constantly growing and everyone loves the jerseys.  Next we’ll be ordering some T-shirts through the CSG site also.
